The origins of the inn, our thoughts, and our concept
Located in Tochio, Okuhida Onsenkyo, the "Okomori no Yado Yumenagashi" aims to provide a special experience for visitors, creating a space where they can relax both physically and mentally, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We aim to make the most of the benefits of the hot springs and provide an accommodation experience that allows you to feel one with nature. We place great importance on the warm hospitality that will remain in the memories of our guests in the design and services of our inn, and hope that you will enjoy it with all your senses.
We also hope to provide an experience that allows all guests to spend a "dreamlike time" by enjoying delicious cuisine made with carefully selected local ingredients and seasonal scenery.
Seclusion
"Okomori" is a word that reflects traditional Japanese culture and customs, and refers primarily to spending time in a special place or space in silence. The purpose of this expression is to face oneself and refresh one's mind and body in a temporary environment isolated from the outside world.
Especially in hot spring resorts, seclusion is an important time for visitors seeking relaxation and healing. By soaking in the hot springs, spending time in nature, and calming the mind, fatigue and stress from everyday life are relieved.
This concept is also offered at accommodation facilities as "Okomori Inns," with ingenuity and services in place to ensure that guests have a comfortable stay. Specifically, these include a natural environment, heartwarming hospitality, high-quality hot springs, and dining experiences.
Dream Flow
"Yume Nagashi" means letting dreams and hopes flow away. This name embodies our desire to provide an experience where guests can forget the stress and worries of everyday life, refresh themselves, and gain new dreams and energy through their time at the inn.
Combined with the relaxing effects unique to hot springs, it could be said that the name was chosen in the hope that guests would be able to relax and feel lighter in both body and mind during their stay. The soothing hot springs in the midst of nature, and the carefully selected delicious cuisine all support the concept of "Yume Nagashi."
