Kamikochi, one of Japan's most scenic mountain areas, is a 30-minute bus or taxi ride from Hirayu Onsen, the gateway to the Oku-Hida Onsen area.
With the opening of the mountain in spring, the area is crowded with many tourists every year, and visitors can enjoy some of Japan's most famous mountain scenery, including Kappa Bridge, Taisho Pond, and Myojin Pond.

Private cars are not allowed in Kamikochi all year round.
Please take a bus or taxi from Akandana Parking Lot (Hirayu Onsen, Okuhida Onsenkyo) or Sawando Parking Lot (Matsumoto City).
