Information regarding road closures and detours on National Route 158 leading from central Takayama to "Okomori no Yado Yumenagashi"!

As of March 2026, a landslide has occurred in Shioya, Nyukawa-cho, Takayama City (near Hataho).

A section of National Route 158 is completely closed to traffic.

Road closures and detour information

• Closed section: Shioya, Nyukawa-cho, Takayama City to Hataho, Nyukawa-cho

• Detour: * Regular cars: You can detour by following the signs near the site and using the parallel **municipal road (Shioya, Nyukawa-cho to Hataho)**.It is expected to take approximately 5 minutes longer than usual.

• Large vehicles (tour buses, etc.): City roads are impassable, so a wide detour via National Route 41 and National Route 471 (via Kamioka) is necessary.

 

Directions

1. From Takayama city center, take National Route 158 towards Hirayu/Shinhotaka.

2. Upon arriving near Shioya in Nyukawa-cho, you will see a road closure sign and directions to a detour (city road).

3. By following the signs along the city road, you can return to National Route 158 (near Hataho).

4. After that, proceed as usual along National Route 158 towards Hirayu, then turn onto National Route 471 towards Shinhotaka and head towards "Okomori no Yado Yumenagashi".
